Pour and finish
Concrete work starts with preparing and blinding the base, then setting the shutters and any joints the design calls for. Reinforcement and any services cast into the slab are placed and checked before the pour is booked. We pour in planned bays, compact the concrete, then finish and cure the surface.
Levels are set from datum and the slab thickness is checked against the drawings before concrete arrives. Delivery tickets and pour records are kept for the site team. Once cured, the surface is checked for level and handed over ready for the following trade.
