All reinforcement works are carried out in accordance with project drawings and technical specifications.
Bar by bar
Bar is scheduled and delivered to site cut and bent, then stacked by mark near the pour. Our fixers place the bottom mat, set spacers and chairs, then fix the top steel and links. Laps, starter bars and cover are set as the cage is built.
Every bar is fixed to the bar bending schedule and the reinforcement drawings issued for the pour. Cover, spacing and lap lengths are checked before the shutters are closed or the pour is booked. The cage is offered for inspection and signed off before concrete is called.
