We carry out earthworks, excavation and ground preparation for car parks, commercial developments, industrial sites and construction projects.

Cut and fill
Earthworks begin with stripping topsoil and setting the levels the finished surface has to meet. We then cut and fill across the area, moving material to where it is needed and taking the rest off site. Formation is then compacted and the sub-base laid to the falls the drainage design requires.
Levels are set from the drawings and checked across the area as the ground is brought up. Falls are followed so surface water runs to the gullies and outlets shown. The prepared formation is handed to the surfacing team at the level and tolerance the specification calls for.
